Renowned as a key example of late 1800s architecture in Georgia, the Ezekiel Harris House, also known as the Harris-Pearson-Walker House, was built in the early Federal style in 1797. The first home to go up in the new town of Harrisburg, the historic home features a full-length patio on both the upper and ground stories and a decorated frieze topping the main entryway. Located in west of downtown Augusta, the home is just a few miles distant from the Augusta Museum of History, which oversees the care of the home.
