Live theatrical events, concerts by big-name bands and family-oriented programming fills the calendar of Imperial Theatre, a vaudeville theater built in 1918 during the high point of the live performance era. Seating over 850 patrons, the historic theater is the last of its kind standing in the area and has been carefully restored to its original appearance. It is located in downtown, just blocks from the Augusta Museum of History and the stunning Savannah River.
