Welcome to Augusta, Georgia

Welcome to Augusta Georgia

Generally a quiet city, Augusta really comes to life during the Masters Tournament in April. To better experience the real city, try to avoid this event and instead visit when there will be more locals than tourists. During the rest of the year, there is still plenty to see and do, from recreational sports in the canal to visiting art galleries and touring historic homes. Even during the off-season, tourism is very much alive in the city, yielding a vast selection of lovely hotels and delicious restaurants to choose from.
